Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and establish a comprehensive understanding of their unique circumstances.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on clients' goals, preferences, and evidenced-based practices.

• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.

• Work collaboratively with clients to introduce coping strategies and skill-building exercises aimed at effectively managing their symptoms.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and treatment progress, adhering to professional ethical standards and state regulations.

• Participate in regular supervision, case consultation, and professional development activities, ensuring you stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client population, ranging from children and adolescents to adults facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid and independent mental health counseling license in Washington State, including (but not limited to) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). Limited/provisional licenses are not accepted.

• Strong decision-making abilities to formulate evaluations and treatment recommendations that facilitate effective care.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a genuine empathetic nature to build rapport with clients.

• Proficient computer literacy to effectively utilize telehealth platforms and maintain client records.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience working in a telehealth setting or familiarity with virtual therapy modalities is preferred. Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques or areas of focus (like trauma-informed care) may also enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits\n
