Sales And Business Development Executive

BR Apparel Ltd is a Bradford-based premium embroidery and branded clothing manufacturer established in 2013. With over 30 years of industry experience behind us, we supply corporate uniforms, workwear and branded merchandise to businesses across Yorkshire and beyond. We operate a fully equipped in-house production facility with Tajima 8-head, 6-head and 2-head embroidery machines, MHM S-Type Xtreme and M&R Sportsman screen print, and DTF capability — everything produced in Bradford, not farmed out. We are growing fast and need the right person to help us take BR Apparel to the next level. The Role We are looking for a driven, experienced Sales Executive to join BR Apparel and build our direct corporate client base across Yorkshire and the wider UK. This is a field-based new business development role focused on winning and retaining corporate accounts. You will be targeting businesses in construction, manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, hospitality and the corporate sector who need branded uniforms and workwear. This is not a desk job. We want someone who is out in front of clients every day, building a pipeline and closing orders. What You Will Be Doing Prospecting and identifying new corporate clients across Yorkshire and beyond Building relationships with decision makers — operations directors, office managers and HR leads Managing the full sales cycle from first contact through to confirmed order Following up on warm leads from our Google Ads, LinkedIn and marketing campaigns Logging all activity in CRM and reporting weekly with pipeline updates Representing BR Apparel at networking events, industry events and trade shows Working closely with the production team to ensure orders are delivered to specification and on time Identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts What We Are Looking For Experience in the branded clothing, workwear, embroidery, promotional merchandise or apparel industry is essential — we need someone who knows this market and can hit the ground running from day one. Proven track record of winning new business in a B2B field sales environment Strong knowledge of the branded clothing, workwear or promotional merchandise industry Confident relationship builder — clients buy from people they trust Self‑motivated, target‑driven and comfortable working independently Full UK driving licence and own vehicle — essential for this field‑based role Confident communicator on the phone, face to face and in writing Experience using a CRM system to manage pipeline and activity The Package Basic Salary — Year 1: £25,000 / Year 2: £35,000 (subject to performance) Commission — 10% on all sales, uncapped, paid monthly on invoiced and cleared orders Car Allowance — HMRC approved mileage rate: 45p per mile for the first 10,000 miles, 25p per mile thereafter, paid monthly on submission of a mileage log. Own vehicle essential. Phone — provided by BR Apparel Laptop — provided by BR Apparel On Target Earnings Year 1 at £100,000 sales: £35,000 total earnings Year 1 at £200,000 sales: £45,000 total earnings Year 2 at £200,000 sales: £55,000 total earnings Sales Targets Year 1 — £100,000 in new business revenue — commission at target: £10,000 Year 2 — £200,000 in new business revenue — commission at target: £20,000 Targets are reviewed annually. Year 2 salary increase to £35,000 is subject to hitting Year 1 target.
