Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments during initial client consultations, documenting comprehensive case information that informs treatment strategies.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health to develop tailored intervention and recovery plans that meet the needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques to support clients in achieving their goals.

• Monitor clients’ progress consistently throughout the treatment process, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with fellow mental health specialists, healthcare providers, and support staff to formulate and execute comprehensive intervention plans.

• Maintain open lines of communication with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients requiring hospitalization or specialized interventions.

• Identify behaviors that may impede recovery and provide coping strategies to mitigate these challenges.

• Support family members and primary caregivers by providing guidance and resources to manage mental and behavioral health challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work at Timeless Counseling Center will encompass a diverse client base, with a focus on individuals facing a variety of mental health issues. Clients may include those coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and substance use disorders. Your expertise will play a crucial role in empowering clients to navigate their unique paths to wellness.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong foundation in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
\n
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, specifically AVATAR, to manage client documentation and progress notes.

• Solid understanding of the interplay between physical health, emotional well-being, and addiction issues.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working within a community health clinic or similar environment, demonstrating a commitment to providing comprehensive mental health care.

• Familiarity with best practices from the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and the latest developments in the field of psychotherapy.

• In-depth knowledge of psychopharmacology and the effects of medications as prescribed by medical practitioners.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interactions with clients, families, and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
