This position enables you to work from the comfort of your home, utilizing telehealth technologies that allow for flexible interaction with clients. Although your primary working hours will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, some scheduling flexibility is expected to meet diverse patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments that consider patients' unique experiences, challenges, and backgrounds to formulate individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adapting methodologies to resonate with patients’ cultural values and personal circumstances.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing techniques aimed at addressing specific mental health concerns while fostering resilience and well-being.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide comprehensive, coordinated care for all patients.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention services and support for individuals experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families on various mental health topics, treatment modalities, and community resources to empower informed decision-making.

• Maintain up-to-date and confidential documentation in accordance with relevant legal and ethical guidelines, utilizing electronic health record systems efficiently.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess a current and valid license as either LPCC, LMFT, or LCSW within the state of California.

• Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and cultural competency.

• Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy with sensitivity to diverse cultures.

• Strong crisis intervention abilities, including the capability to maintain composure in high-pressure scenarios.

Patient First Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
