Work Environment

This is a full-time, onsite position at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility located in the heart of Bradenton, Florida, known for its inviting tropical atmosphere and vibrant community. The clinic operates Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience. Our environment encourages collaboration among our interdisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of orthopedic patients, including physical examinations and functional movement screenings.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific patient needs, ensuring they meet short- and long-term recovery goals.
• Continuously evaluate patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary and documenting clinical findings and progress in real-time through our electronic health record system.
• Guide patients and their families through the rehabilitation process, providing education on exercises, rehabilitation protocols, and strategies to overcome obstacles during their recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide coordinated care for patients receiving multiple therapies.
• Actively participate in professional development and ongoing training opportunities to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, trauma, and chronic pain conditions related to musculoskeletal issues. Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and unrestricted state licensure (by the Board of Physical Therapy) to practice in Florida.
• Willingness to perform evaluations and treatments both in-person and, when appropriate, through telehealth platforms.
• Desire and capability to work with a diverse patient demographic, contributing to a compassionate and inclusive care environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable, with a proven track record of treating a variety of musculoskeletal disorders.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits
