Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand the patient's trauma history and identify appropriate therapeutic approaches.

• Develop tailored, individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery and resilience, regularly reviewing and updating these plans as needed.

• Provide effective evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, offering a safe space for clients to explore their feelings and develop healthy coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive, integrated support for clients.

• Deliver crisis intervention services when clients face trauma-related emergencies, ensuring their immediate safety and emotional well-being.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, thereby empowering them with knowledge and resources for healing.

• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical mandates, using electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role centers on adult clients who have experienced varying degrees of trauma, including survivors of abuse, accidents, and other life-altering events. In your practice, you'll be instrumental in guiding clients through their recovery journey, employing a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to their specific trauma backgrounds and personal goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT is required.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, focusing on trauma-informed care.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to remain composed in high-pressure environments and effectively manage crisis situations.

• Proficiency in EHR systems and other digital tools to maintain client documentation and streamline communication.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of experience is the baseline, experience delivering trauma-focused therapies, particularly EMDR and TF-CBT, is highly sought after. Familiarity with community resources and support networks for trauma survivors would also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
