About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required License: Valid state or compact nursing license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - Experience in Med/Surg - Use of Rapid Response/Code teams - Peripheral Line Care/Management - Non-invasive airway management - Oxygen administration Description: The position involves providing high-quality patient care in a medical surgical setting. Candidates should have experience with various patient care skills and knowledge of medical equipment. The role may require floating to different units as necessary. Successful applicants will be responsible for assessing patient needs, creating care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Flu vaccination is required with exemptions considering medical reasons only. Candidates must be prepared for a strict compliance process, including fingerprinting. Two professional references are required, one of which must be from a manager or someone in a formal leadership capacity. Candidates will need to comply with all credentialing requirements and be proactive in completing these steps. Former employees are eligible for re-hire after a specified period. Education must be from an accredited nursing program.
