Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions for clients diagnosed with a range of emotional and behavioral issues, utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to their unique situations.

• Facilitate training and workshops for interns and university students, sharing your expertise and ensuring compliance with evolving federal, state, and county guidelines.
\n
• Participate actively in the performance evaluation process for interns, providing mentorship and constructive feedback while ensuring thorough documentation.
\n
• Monitor intern caseloads and support them in achieving programmatic outcomes while liaising with Centralized Intake and other clinical supervisors.
\n
• Engage in regular audits of client records and documentation to maintain compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements.
\n
• Respond promptly to crisis and non-crisis situations through both telephonic and in-person consultations, ensuring clients receive timely support.
\n
• Maintain all client files in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, leveraging our AWARDS electronic health record system for meticulous record keeping.
\n
• Manage the intern recruitment process by planning and coordinating recruitment events, interviewing candidates, and facilitating their onboarding process.
\n
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment and proactively report any maintenance or safety concerns to management.
\n
• Other duties as assigned to contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Behavioral Wellness Center.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will work with a diverse clientele that includes adults, children, and families experiencing various emotional and social challenges. Our goal is to provide holistic, tailored therapeutic interventions that cater to each individual’s needs while fostering resilience and improving their overall quality of life. The LCSW will play a pivotal role in easing the transition of clients into or out of more intensive treatment programs.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid California licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), ensuring the ability to practice independently.

• Strong knowledge of telehealth practices, with the ability to maintain a reliable internet connection for virtual sessions.

• Currently residing in the United States and licensed to provide mental health services in California.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
