Work Environment\n

This role is exclusively remote, providing you the flexibility to work from home while serving students in a digital school plant. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand and identify the emotional, social, and environmental strengths and challenges influencing students' educational experiences.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment and discharge plans, employing various therapeutic techniques tailored to the unique circumstances of each student and their family.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, school nurses, and mental health professionals, to align on strategies that support students’ emotional and academic success.

• Facilitate discharge planning and transitions for students returning to school after hospitalization, coordinating care with healthcare providers and ensuring appropriate follow-up services are in place.

• Provide education and counseling to families to help them navigate the challenges associated with their child’s mental health and well-being.
\n
• Utilize crisis intervention and various therapeutic modalities, including individual, group, and family therapy formats, to support students in acute need.

• Play a pivotal role in training and guiding other social workers within the organization, sharing your expertise in psychosocial assessments and interventions.

• Participate in on-call rotation as needed, offering after-hour support during crises or urgent situations involving students.
\n
• Engage in community outreach initiatives aimed at enhancing mental health awareness and resources available to families of school-aged children.

• Present at educational conferences, sharing insights and best practices regarding psychosocial support in educational settings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on working with children and adolescents within a school setting, providing tailored support to help them thrive academically and emotionally. Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.

• Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in Oregon.

Compensation and Benefits\n
