Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and risk assessments, including evaluations of suicide risk and documenting clinical findings with precision.

• Provide crisis intervention and psychotherapy, employing effective strategies in diverse and sometimes challenging client situations.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of medical and support personnel to accurately diagnose and manage psychiatric disorders for your clients.
\n
• Create tailored treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and standard practice guidelines, ensuring that clients receive personalized and effective care.

• Maintain timely and detailed clinical documentation to monitor patient progress while adhering to ethical standards and legal reporting requirements.

• Facilitate communication among care teams, the patient, and involved family members or support systems to foster a holistic approach to treatment.

• Deliver on-call crisis services and conduct emergency consultations during scheduled work hours.

• Stay informed about clients' histories, including any co-occurring mental health and substance use issues, to provide informed and empathetic care.

This role will primarily focus on supporting clients from underrepresented backgrounds, particularly women and families. You will engage with individuals of various ages and cultural backgrounds, creating an affirming environment that respects each client's unique experiences and challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, clinical social work, or closely related fields (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD) from an accredited institution.

• An independent license to practice in the state of Oregon (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is required.

• Proficiency in managing a sizeable caseload, demonstrating effective organizational and communication skills.

• Regular use of electronic medical records (EMR) systems to track client progress and treatment plans.

• Effective email communication skills and a solid foundation in computer applications needed for virtual and telehealth services.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in mental health assessments, community outreach, substance use treatment, and welfare services is highly desirable.

• A demonstrated passion for contributing to the lives of clients and the overall advancement of behavioral health services.

• Experience with co-occurring mental health issues and substance use disorders is an advantage.

• Ability to travel occasionally for on-site visits when required, so a valid driver’s license is needed.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer competitive salaries in the range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year.
