Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine clients' mental health status.

• Engage with clients regularly via telehealth platforms, providing counseling, support, and coping strategies tailored to their unique challenges.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, promoting community and peer support among students.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse range of clients, including students experiencing anxiety, depression, substance abuse issues, or eating disorders. You will play a crucial role in breaking down barriers to mental health access and providing support and guidance to students who may face stigma around mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW.

• A minimum of four years’ experience in a mental health counseling role.

• Robust understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based practices.

• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting individual therapy and group therapy with a culturally responsive approach.
