Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage in initial consultations with clients to evaluate their mental health status and identify therapeutic needs.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that address specific mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.

• Provide ongoing individual and group therapy sessions using culturally responsive techniques to foster inclusion and trust.

• Regularly monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to achieve the best outcomes.

• Document client interactions and treatment progress within electronic health record (EHR) systems while adhering to confidentiality and ethical standards.

• Coordinate care with other health professionals, making referrals to psychiatrists or other specialists when required.

• Support clients in developing skills and strategies necessary for coping with their challenges, thereby contributing to their overall mental and emotional health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Wise Mind Psychotherapy Services, you will encounter a varied patient population, including individuals experiencing severe mental health disorders such as depression and anxiety, those dealing with substance abuse issues, and clients who face challenges related to eating disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the State of Massachusetts.

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of diverse therapeutic approaches.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and previous experience managing clinical assessments with clients in distress.

• Proficient in utilizing EHR systems and other software tools to maintain accurate records and enhance treatment outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary between $70,000 and $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
