Our client is seeking a high-performing Account Executive to manage and grow a designated portfolio of client accounts within an assigned territory. In this role, you will establish strong client relationships, gain a thorough understanding of their business needs and objectives, and identify opportunities to grow. This includes developing and securing new business opportunities across card solutions, personalization, and digital solutions. Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Consistently achieve and exceed sales quotas/goals within an assigned territory
\n
• Manage existing client relationships; become a trusted advisor for their product/services needs and make recommendations
\n
• Develop strategic plans centered on prospective clients, potential risks and opportunities for growth
\n
• Identify opportunities and prospect within assigned accounts by uncovering unmet needs and possibilities to expand available products/services
\n
• Build relationships with executives and decision-makers responsible for needs, business initiatives, purchasing cycles and card strategies
\n
• Identify upsell and/or cross-sell opportunities by utilizing purchase history, trends, data and market insights
\n
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and close
\n
• Drive growth through value-added solutions/services i.e. new programs, upgrades, personalization options, redesigns, etc.
\n
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
\n
• Anticipate business needs, escalate risks if necessary and manage renewals in support of client retention
\n
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline, track client interactions, forecast revenue, and ensure CRM records are accurate and up to date
\n

Requirements:

\n

\n

\n
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
\n
• Min. 5+ years of Account Management, B2B Sales and/or Customer Relationship experience within financial services/payments industry
\n
• Direct experience selling payment card plastics, payment card manufacturing, personalization, instant issuance, or related payment card solutions to financial institutions is required
\n
• Experience managing existing financial services and/or card solution clients
\n
• Demonstrated success selling complex solutions and negotiating enterprise-level agreements
\n
• Relationship development experience; ability to communicate with Key Opinion Leaders
\n
• Territory management and account prioritization experience; drive several opportunities through sales cycle
\n
• Excellent presentation, communication, and consultative selling skills
\n
• Proficient in CRM systems
\n
• Ability to travel as needed up to 30%
\n

• Year 1 @ plan up to $190,000
