Sample Processing Associate - Weekend PM

$14.85 - $29.65 per hour

Abbott seeks a Clinical Lab Associate I for specimen processing at a diagnostics facility in Madison. The role involves accession, processing, automation support, and maintenance of laboratory operations on a weekend evening shift (Saturday–Monday, 6 p.m.–6:30 a.m.).

Responsibilities

Perform specimen accessioning, processing, automation operation, and sample racking
Maintain laboratory equipment, cleanliness, and operational readiness
Document issues and resolutions in compliance with Good Documentation Practices
Support quality improvements and departmental audits aligned with organizational goals
Handle biohazardous materials and specimens following standard precautions and safety regulations

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency with computers, internet, email, and Microsoft Office
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and tolerate prolonged standing
Legal work authorization without sponsorship
Experience with laboratory sample handling and procedure compliance (preferred)
Knowledge of CAP, CLIA, HIPAA, and related regulations (preferred)

Compensation: $14.85–$29.65 per hour
