Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for students to identify their emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.

• Develop individualized care plans based on assessment findings and collaboratively set achievable goals with clients and their families.

• Implement therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, or play therapy tailored to the needs of children and adolescents.

• Facilitate regular meetings with multidisciplinary teams—including educators, school psychologists, and healthcare providers—to ensure cohesive care for each student.

• Document patient interactions meticulously using electronic health record systems, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Provide consultation and support to parents or guardians, equipping them with strategies to support their child’s mental health and well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clientele will primarily consist of children and adolescents coping with diverse mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders, as well as those affected by substance use. The ability to engage with young individuals and foster a therapeutic alliance will be paramount. Our LCSWs will offer culturally sensitive services that respect and honor the backgrounds and experiences of our clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.

• Must possess a valid and current LCSW license in the state of California.

• At least 3 years of professional experience working in mental health settings, especially with children and families is essential.
