Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain open and constructive communication with physicians regarding patient progress, treatment needs, and any potential concerns that may arise during therapy.

• Document clinical findings and progress notes accurately and punctually, adhering to department policies and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals to develop individual treatment plans and effective discharge strategies based on comprehensive psychosocial assessments.

• Provide individual and group counseling, along with crisis intervention, for clients experiencing emotional and behavioral challenges, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Assist with discharge planning and facilitate care coordination by collaborating with regionally available resources and providers, ensuring seamless transitions for patients.

• Engage and consult with family members and support systems to foster holistic treatment approaches and enhance client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Bright Shelter Healing Center, you will work with a diverse patient population, including those struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Your personalized approach will be key in addressing individual life experiences and needs, ensuring that each client receives tailored support that promotes recovery and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or an equivalent designation.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working in an outpatient mental health setting, with a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality therapeutic services.

• Demonstrated ability to utilize evidence-based practice and therapies effectively in treatment delivery.

• Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of working independently while managing multiple caseloads.
\n
• Proficient in computer skills, including a solid understanding of Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
