This role manages system demand forecasts and planning for up to 10,000 SKUs across all stores at item/warehouse/store/day levels using statistical forecasting tools. Forecasts are integrated into legacy systems to drive store and warehouse replenishment and support vendor collaboration, display optimization, promotion optimization, and event planning. The position maintains forecast master data, seasonality, product-event associations, and the lifecycle of assigned product lines. Collaborating closely with In‑Stock Analysts and Demand Systems Specialists, the Forecast Analyst reviews sales trends, implements parameters for seasonal and transitional strategies, and conducts advanced statistical forecast accuracy analysis to reduce system forecast error and minimize manual adjustments. The role also addresses root causes of forecast variability, aids in troubleshooting, and supports procurement streams such as diverting, forward buying, and efficiency programs. A flexible/hybrid schedule permits three in‑person days at a core location and two remote days. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis. Principle Duties and Responsibilities Ensure Forecast & Replenishment (F&R) system forecast accuracy for the assigned product line. Use advanced statistical forecast accuracy analysis to reduce system errors and avoid manual forecast adjustments. Resolve forecasting exceptions and perform daily root cause analysis to improve forecast accuracy for promotional and turn products. Manage Relex (F&R system) daily, weekly, and monthly forecast workflows, reducing systemic forecast error. Partner with In‑Stock Analysts and Demand System Specialists to align on trends and strategies supporting forecast accuracy. Provide forecasts to vendor partners (private brands team). Complete sales correction troubleshooting and analyze effective corrected sales, determining the most accurate correction type (stockout, campaign, or manual correction). Collaborate with Category teams on ad promotions, special programs, and holidays. Review Store and Distribution Center baseline forecasts and BIAS, addressing any low forecast accuracy or BIAS. Review and update master data and parameters for products that will be terminated. Follow up on and review forecasts for new store locations. Perform additional duties as needed to meet business needs and support company values. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related business field, or equivalent relevant work experience. 0-3 years of relevant experience. ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $63,440‑$95,160 Actual compensation offered may vary based on qualifications, experience, internal equity, and market conditions.
