Job Title: Office Authorization Rep Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma Type: Contract To Hire Compensation: $18/hr. Work Model: Onsite – onsite Hours: 40.0

Overview

Responsibilities

Review patient charts for clinical’s needed to obtain authorization.
Call insurance companies to obtain authorization and benefits, collect any deductible or out-of-pocket max before procedure / surgery from patients.
Ability to navigate insurance web site to obtain authorizations.
Strong computer skills in data entry, knowledge of Electronic Medical Record software; Microsoft Office Suite.
Maintain excellent verbal and written communication with patients, providers, and insurance companies.
Work independently or as an active member of a team, multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

Requirements

Two (2) years of medical authorization experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong computer skills including data entry and Electronic Medical Record software.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
