Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to establish baseline mental health status and identify treatment needs.

• Design customized therapy plans that leverage evidence-based practices to address specific mental health challenges.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic methodologies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and supportive counseling.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic care, including referrals to psychiatrists or additional specialists as necessary.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress within our EHR system while adhering to regulatory compliance and confidentiality standards.

• Actively participate in case discussions and contribute to the development of systemic treatment approaches to enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population experiencing a wide array of mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Our clients range from adolescents to adults, often facing multifaceted challenges that require an understanding of cultural considerations and an inclusive therapeutic approach.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license in the state of Georgia as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a commitment to professional integrity and ethical best practices.

• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and proficiency in evidence-based practices, with a focus on cultural competence.

• Experience facilitating individual and group therapy sessions using inclusive and responsive approaches tailored to the needs of diverse populations.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain composed under pressure and provide timely support to clients in distress.
