Our clinic specializes in orthopedic outpatient care, focusing on helping patients regain their mobility and improve their quality of life. Work Environment

Located in the heart of Pompano Beach, our clinic offers a vibrant and engaging workspace where teamwork and collaboration are paramount. You will be part of a small, tight-knit team consisting of two other Physical Therapists and a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), which creates a friendly and collaborative atmosphere. This onsite position ensures you will be directly involved in patient care while benefiting from close interactions with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' goals, limitations, and needs at the outset of therapy.
• Manage a patient caseload efficiently, seeing one patient per hour to build strong therapeutic relationships and deliver focused treatment.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient settings to design individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Implement evidence-based practices to provide treatments that enhance patients' range of motion and mobility while promoting postural stability and prevention of injury recurrence.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust care plans as necessary, and document treatment outcomes meticulously to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care tailored to each individual's needs.
• Educate patients on injury prevention strategies, effective exercise regimens, and healthy lifestyle choices, including nutrition and wellness.
• Provide motivation and support to patients throughout their recovery journey, encouraging adherence to treatment plans and fostering a positive outlook.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Patients may range from athletes seeking to return to sports to older adults rehabilitating post-surgery or managing chronic pain. Our comprehensive approach aims to empower patients by enhancing their physical capabilities and improving their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• An unblemished professional record, with no prior disciplinary actions against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation protocols.
• Experience in creating and supervising exercise programs tailored to the specific requirements of diverse patients.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is highly advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly preferred.
• Expertise in hands-on treatment modalities and knowledge of current rehabilitation trends and techniques.
• Experience mentoring junior staff or students is a plus, as our clinic values knowledge-sharing and continued education.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
