Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist - Full-Time

Position Overview

Superior Balance Physical Health Therapy is seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist to join our team at our orthopedic outpatient center located in Pompano Beach, Florida. This is a full-time position, with a salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 per year. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients in restoring their full range of motion through tailored treatment plans and dedicated care.

Work Environment

As an onsite position, you will be working directly with patients in our outpatient office, which is designed for a comfortable and healing environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand patients' individual goals and needs, developing personalized treatment plans.
• Manage a diverse caseload of predominantly orthopedic patients, averaging one individual per hour, allowing for focused attention on each patient's Rehabilitation needs.
• Deliver evidence-based treatments that address both immediate and long-term mobility challenges, emphasizing cost-effective interventions.
• Employ manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to reduce pain, enhance range of motion, and prevent reliance on medications or unnecessary surgical interventions.
• Regularly evaluate and document patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary based on outcomes and their feedback.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including consultations with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Facilitate educational sessions for patients, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle through strength training, flexibility, balance, and coordination routines.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient treatment and progress using our EMR system, WebPT, to ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise and compassionate approach will play a vital role in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journey, fostering their motivation and commitment to achieving their physical health goals.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A clean professional record, free from any disciplinary actions regarding your licensure.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy techniques and a strong foundation in developing effective exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with EMR software, particularly WebPT, for patient documentation and record-keeping.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Demonstrated ability to develop tailored fitness and rehabilitation programs that enhance patient recovery.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate collaboration with patients and the healthcare team.
