Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite at our bustling rehabilitation center, where you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work-life structure. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and meet each patient's individual goals and needs.
• Provide direct patient care for 2-3 individuals per hour, ensuring efficient and effective treatment sessions.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient therapies to develop customized care plans that incorporate evidence-based treatments.
• Implement cost-effective therapeutic interventions aimed at improving clients' motion and mobility, reducing reliance on medications, and offering alternatives to surgical procedures.
• Create and promote fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific conditions and lifestyles.
• Document patient care services meticulously, keeping accurate records of treatments and progress.
• Regularly evaluate patient outcomes, monitor progress, and communicate changes in care plans to both patients and colleagues.
• Consult with other healthcare practitioners to ensure comprehensive patient care and a multidisciplinary approach to treatment.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their recovery journey, aiming to instill confidence and facilitate optimal functioning.
• Focus on promoting lifestyle changes that enhance overall strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination among clients.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, although preference may be given to candidates with a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapist License is required, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• National Provider Identifier (NPI) number must be obtained prior to employment.
• Demonstrable proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescriptions.
• Ability to work both independently and as a cohesive member of a healthcare team.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is essential.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting will be viewed favorably. Expertise in treating a variety of orthopedic conditions and familiarity with the latest treatment methodologies can greatly enhance the patient experience and therapeutic outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits
