Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to diagnose and create individualized treatment plans that facilitate optimal recovery.
• Implement evidence-based physical therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and pain management strategies.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to strategize and coordinate treatment for patients with complex conditions.
• Educate patients and their families on preventive care, exercise regimens, and lifestyle modifications that promote recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on individual response and change in condition.
• Utilize advanced rehabilitation tools and methodologies unique to orthopedic therapy, such as ultrasound therapy and electrical stimulation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily focus on orthopedic patients of varying ages and mobility levels, including those recovering from surgical procedures, managing chronic pain, or rehabilitating from sports-related injuries. You will partner with patients who are eager to regain their independence, lifestyle, and physical capabilities, making your role vital to their progress and success.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist, in compliance with Florida regulations.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an orthopedic setting.

Preferred Experience

• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills, particularly in orthopedic therapy.
• Proven background in developing and implementing personalized rehabilitation plans, demonstrating favorable patient outcomes.
• Excellence in communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective patient and family education.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus, as well as familiarity with telehealth services as they pertain to therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
