Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for individuals entering the detox center, evaluating their psychological and emotional needs.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address co-occurring disorders and are tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to support clients in their recovery journey.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging peer support and connection while promoting personal growth and coping strategies.
\n
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, including addiction specialists and medical staff, to ensure that all aspects of each client's treatment are coordinated and effective.

• Deliver psychoeducation to clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and resources available for support post-detox.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to document assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through participation in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve clients in a detox setting, who may be facing substance use disorders and related mental health challenges. You will work with a variety of individuals, including those with previous trauma, anxiety, or other co-occurring disorders. It is essential to approach each client with empathy and an understanding of their unique personal history.

Qualifications\n

• Current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or equivalent.

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. A Master’s or Doctorate degree is preferred.

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant post-licensure experience in a mental health setting, particularly within substance use or detox environments.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed care principles.

• Proficient in conducting mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans.

• Experience providing therapy in individual and group settings, utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.

• Knowledge of EHR systems and basic computer proficiency.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of experience is required, additional experience working with detox clients and familiarity with addiction recovery processes will be highly regarded. Candidates with prior involvement in educational or community-based mental health initiatives will also be favored.

Compensation and Benefits\n
