Administrative Assistant III / Administrative Services Specialist
Location: Onsite (5 Days per Week)
Pay Rate: 25/hr-28/hr
Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (30-Minute or 1-Hour Lunch)
Duration: 2 Year Contract with Strong Potential for Conversion to Full-Time
Education: High School Diploma Required | Bachelor's Degree Strongly Preferred
Position Overview
SDG&E is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant III (Administrative Services Specialist) to provide comprehensive administrative support to business operations within Shared Services. This role serves as a key resource for coordinating office activities, maintaining records, managing communications, and supporting operational efficiency through effective organization and administrative execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to business leaders and operational teams
- Coordinate meetings, calendars, travel arrangements, and logistics
- Prepare reports, presentations, and business correspondence
- Maintain accurate records, files, and departmental documentation
- Support reporting activities and ensure timely distribution of information
- Assist with office coordination and operational processes
- Manage communications and serve as a key point of administrative support
- Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of administrative support experience
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Proven ability to handle confidential information professionally
