QC Analytical Scientist - 3rd Shift Group Leader

Eurofins PSS seeks a QC Analytical Chemist Group Leader for third-shift pharmaceutical testing and team oversight. The role involves GMP-compliant testing of raw materials, APIs, and stability samples using multiple analytical techniques, with responsibility for leading a team of 3-5 chemists.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and review pharmaceutical testing including in-process, raw materials, intermediates, APIs, and stability samples
• Lead, manage, and develop a team of 3–5 analytical chemists; participate in hiring and onboarding
• Support investigations of out-of-specification, out-of-trend, and invalid results; oversee method transfers and qualifications
• Manage reference standards, elemental impurities, and residual solvent testing in compliance with GMP protocols
• Serve as primary contact for client and internal teams; promote quality standards and company vision across the group

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field with 5+ years GMP/GLP testing experience, or Master's with 3+ years
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Liquid Chromatography, Conductivity, and Titration
• Demonstrated proficiency with at least two of: NMR, GC, ICP-OES, IR, RI, UV-Vis, or TGA
• Strong knowledge of GMP regulations, ICH guidelines, and 21 CFR Parts 210/211
• 1+ years of prior leadership or supervisory experience
• Ability to work 10:00pm–8:30am shift schedule on rotating weekly rotations

Compensation: $38.00–$55.00 per hour based on education, leadership experience, and industry background
