Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms related to mood disorders, such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each client’s specific needs and goals, ensuring they understand their therapeutic journey.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address and manage mood disorders.

• Provide ongoing education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and practical self-care strategies.

• Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes and adapt to changing needs.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure a seamless patient experience.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment strategies in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to continually enhance your clinical skills in mood disorder treatment.

• Act as an advocate for clients, promoting the importance of mental health and de-stigmatizing mood disorders in your community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with adult clients grappling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. This patient demographic often seeks support in navigating their mental health challenges and achieving a better quality of life. Your expertise in evidence-based treatments is crucial to helping them attain their personal goals and mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, specifically CBT and DBT.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology to promote effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.

• Exceptional communication skills to establish rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who have strong clinical experience in treating mood disorders and a proven track record of successful patient outcomes. Compensation and Benefits\n
