Work Environment\n

This full-time position allows for a flexible remote work setting, enabling you to create a comfortable home office environment while interacting with clients and team members via telehealth platforms. Our outpatient office model places a strong emphasis on accessibility and convenience, ensuring clients receive the care they need without barriers. Working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential flexibility based on the needs of our clientele.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients presenting with various mental health concerns in individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that address the unique circumstances and goals of each client, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and narrative therapy.

• Engage in regular supervision and case consultation with fellow therapists to enhance therapeutic strategies and improve client outcomes.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development initiatives to stay current with best practices and emerging trends in the field of marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this position, you will work closely with a diverse array of clients that encompasses individuals, couples, and families experiencing a variety of challenges, such as relationship stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other life transitions. Through culturally competent and individualized care, you will help clients navigate their mental health journeys and empower them to achieve personal growth and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Maryland is mandatory.

• A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience in providing therapeutic services in a clinical setting.

• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting diagnostic assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and guiding clients toward their therapeutic goals.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

• A strong commitment to ethical practice, cultural competence, and social justice principles within therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
