Salesforce Revenue Cloud Solution Architect (Greenfield Implementation)

Role Summary
We are looking for a highly seasoned Salesforce Revenue Cloud Solution Architect with extensive experience leading greenfield Quote-to-Cash (Q2C) transformations on the Salesforce platform. This role goes beyond traditional solution design-the architect is expected to own the complete product and solution vision , partner closely with customers, and drive outcomes from strategy through execution and adoption.
The ideal candidate combines deep Revenue Cloud architecture expertise , strong customer management , and a product-centric mindset to deliver scalable, future-ready solutions aligned to business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Solution & Product Ownership
  • Own the end-to-end architectural and product vision for Salesforce Revenue Cloud implementations
  • Define target-state architecture, roadmap, and phased delivery strategy for greenfield Q2C programs
  • ct as a solution owner and product thought leader , ensuring alignment between business goals, platform capabilities, and long-term scalability
  • Drive architectural decisions across CPQ, Pricing, Contracts, Billing, Invoicing, and Revenue Recognition


Greenfield Architecture & Design
  • Lead from-scratch solution architecture for Salesforce Revenue Cloud implementations
  • Design scalable and resilient Q2C architectures aligned with Salesforce best practices and enterprise standards
  • Define data models, pricing frameworks, product catalogs, subscription strategies, and billing models
  • Own integration architecture with ERP, Finance, Tax, Payments, and downstream systems
  • Provide technical governance around configuration vs customization, performance, and extensibility


Customer Leadership & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary technical and solution advisor for customers , building trusted relationships with business and IT leadership
  • Lead solution visioning workshops, architecture reviews, and executive-level discussions
  • Translate complex technical concepts into business-relevant outcomes and trade-offs
  • Influence customer decision-making while balancing speed, scalability, and product strategy


Delivery & Execution Governance
  • Partner closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Delivery Leads to ensure solution integrity
  • Provide architectural oversight during PI planning, sprint execution, and release management
  • Review and govern designs, configurations, and custom components implemented by delivery teams
  • Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks, dependencies, and scalability concerns


Product Strategy, Adoption & Optimization
  • pply a product management mindset -focusing on usability, extensibility, and long-term value
  • Define success metrics and ensure solution adoption aligns with business outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement post go-live, leveraging Salesforce roadmap and new platform capabilities
  • Ensure solutions are future-proofed for evolving pricing models, business growth, and regulatory needs


Required Experience & Skills

Salesforce & Q2C Expertise
  • 10+ years of experience in Salesforce CRM and enterprise solution design
  • Deep hands-on experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud , including CPQ and Billing and ideally CPQ to revenue cloud migration and implementation
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end Quote-to-Cash processes
  • Proven experience delivering multiple greenfield Salesforce implementations (mandatory)


rchitecture & Technical Skills
  • Strong experience in enterprise architecture, system integration design, and data modeling
  • Expertise in defining scalable solutions using Salesforce declarative and programmatic capabilities
  • Comfortable governing multi-team delivery across onshore/offshore models
  • Experience with Agile / SAFe delivery frameworks


Customer & Product Leadership
  • Excellent customer-facing and stakeholder management skills , including executive audiences
  • Strong product ownership mindset -able to balance business vision, platform constraints, and delivery realities

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and influence skills


Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce certifications (Revenue Cloud Consultant, CPQ Specialist, System Architect, or Technical Architect)
  • Experience with Salesforce Revenue Lifecycle Management (RLM)
  • Background working with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) in Q2C integrations
  • Prior experience in large-scale enterprise transformation programs
