This position is based out of Jacksonville, Florida, however, it offers a remote work setting that allows for greater flexibility and convenience. You will be working within a Hospice Center framework, enhancing your ability to provide comprehensive care for young children and their families during pivotal developmental stages.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Ridgeview Counseling Center, your essential functions and responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and assessments of children to identify developmental needs.
\n
• Participating in the creation and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) tailored to each child’s unique needs.
\n
• Monitoring and evaluating child progress as a collaborative team member, ensuring all interventions are effective and appropriate.
\n
• Providing emotional and educational support to families, helping them understand and navigate the developmental challenges their child may face.
\n
• Adhering strictly to all federal and state regulations to ensure compliance and the highest standards of care.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based practices to enhance engagement, aiming to develop a strong rapport with children, families, and team members.
\n
• Encouraging families to be active participants in their child’s development by recommending strategies and resources that align with Natural Learning Environment Practices.
\n
• Implementing IFSP recommendations and adjusting service frequency according to each child’s developmental status and family goals.
\n
• Training families on skills that enhance their child’s development within everyday activities.
\n
• Practicing a coaching model and natural environment teaching to meet individualized educational needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays. Your expert guidance will help these young clients build foundational skills in physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication development during critical early life stages. As an LCSW, you will play a crucial role in enriching the lives of the children you work with while also available to provide necessary resources and support to their family members.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this position, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the Department of Public Health.

• A valid driver’s license is required to visit families as necessary.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with children in early intervention settings.
\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
