Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary evaluations and document comprehensive case histories from the initial consultation through all phases of treatment, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in client records.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health status using standardized assessment tools and observational techniques.
\n
• Design individualized intervention plans that incorporate clients' specific strengths, needs, and goals, addressing challenges in family, workplace, and social environments.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that promote self-exploration, coping strategies, and recovery milestones.
\n
• Actively track and monitor client progress, adapting treatment plans based on evolving needs and responses to interventions.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and social workers, ensuring a comprehensive approach to client care.

• Manage referrals to appropriate community resources and specialists as necessary, providing a seamless experience for clients.

• Assist clients and their families in identifying behaviors that may hinder recovery and work together to implement proactive strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our services cater to a diverse range of clients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and family dynamics challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Solid understanding of and compliance with the ethical guidelines established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous professional experience as a mental health counselor, with a proven record of therapeutic effectiveness.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, specifically AVATAR, for documentation and treatment planning.

• Experience working with co-occurring physical and emotional health issues, including addiction disorders.

• In-depth understanding of psychotropic medications and their effects, which will support collaborative efforts with psychiatrists and primary care providers.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
