Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will take on various responsibilities aimed at enhancing our clients’ mental health and well-being. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

• Working directly with clients to identify, set, and achieve personalized treatment goals effectively.

• Providing prevention-oriented therapy that addresses the root causes of mental health challenges.

• Implementing, reviewing, and adjusting treatment plans based on client progress and feedback, ensuring tailored care.

• Collaborating with other treatment providers and community support agencies to coordinate care and resources for clients.

• Documenting all client interactions and treatment sessions in a timely and comprehensive manner.

• Maintaining an active caseload while tracking progress through accurate session notes.

• Participating in regular staff meetings to share insights, strategies, and updates to improve our service offerings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve managing a diverse range of clients seeking mental health support, including but not limited to individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions. You’ll have the opportunity to engage with clients of various backgrounds, ages, and needs, making your role vital in advocating for mental health awareness in the community.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• Current and valid licensure as a LPC, LMFT, and/or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• A minimum of two years of direct experience in mental health counseling or related fields.
\n
• Thorough familiarity with community mental health resources.
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective client interaction and documentation.
\n
• The ability to build rapport with clients, essential for effective therapy outcomes.

• Strong leadership qualities conducive to both self-motivation and collaborative partnership.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who have experience in telehealth services or familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or trauma-focused interventions. Being well-versed in digital health platforms and innovative therapy methods will significantly enhance your effectiveness in this role.
