Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, providing flexibility to manage your work schedule while ensuring that you can accommodate the needs of your clients. Although the position primarily allows for standard hours, some flexibility will be required to meet the diverse needs of students, which may include evenings and weekends. You will leverage technology and virtual communication tools to connect with patients, making impactful interventions from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your clinical expertise to formulate comprehensive psychosocial diagnoses based on thorough evaluations of students, considering their unique backgrounds and experiences.

• Collaborate closely with students and their families to develop individualized, patient-centered treatment plans aimed at fostering emotional resilience and academic success.

• Implement evidence-based interventions, leveraging techniques such as solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral activation, to help students navigate their challenges effectively.

• Coordinate efforts with school staff, educational psychologists, and other healthcare providers to ensure an integrated support network that surrounds students with the care they require.

• Regularly monitor and evaluate treatment progress, utilizing both in-person visits as well as telehealth options to maintain consistent engagement with students.

• Support the medication management process by working alongside medical professionals, focusing on adherence and the identification of any side effects to optimize student well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and adolescents in the school setting, addressing a diverse range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, and trauma. By establishing strong therapeutic relationships with students, you will help empower them to engage actively in their learning environments and overall mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice independently in mental health in the State of Kansas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of one year of experience as an independently licensed therapist, demonstrating proficiency in clinical assessments and therapeutic interventions.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working within school systems or with youth populations is highly desirable. Familiarity with educational settings and the unique challenges faced by students will provide a significant advantage in this role. Additionally, candidates with knowledge of relevant regulations and crisis intervention strategies will be prioritized.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. We also offer an attractive annual incentive bonus to recognize and reward your contributions to our mission.
