Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health and emotional well-being to identify challenges and needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ specific goals and circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to conduct therapies, including but not limited to, individual, family, and group sessions.

• Continuously monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans based on initial assessments and ongoing evaluations.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for clients experiencing urgent emotional or psychological distress.
\n
• Ensure all client records are maintained accurately and kept confidential, adhering strictly to legal and ethical standards pertinent to mental health practice.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive approach to mental health care.

• Stay informed on the latest mental health research and treatment modalities to enhance service delivery.

• Engage in regular supervision and continual professional development to refine clinical skills.

• Uphold ethical and professional standards established by relevant licensing boards and organizations while interacting with clients and colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at St. Arnold Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse clientele facing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Our clients come from various backgrounds, representing a cross-section of the Santa Ana community. The therapeutic approaches we employ cater to both individual and family needs, ensuring tailored support that respects cultural and personal uniqueness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist is required (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW).

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates should possess a minimum of three years of experience in a relevant mental health setting. Experience with teletherapy and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be highly regarded. Additionally, expertise in specific therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), may enhance your performance in this role.
