Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of working remotely while engaging with a collaborative outpatient office environment. Flexibility in your work schedule may be required to meet the needs of your patients, ensuring accessibility and timely care delivery. Our standard operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to gauge patient needs and devise targeted treatment plans that reflect individual goals and conditions.

• Utilize various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to provide effective, personalized counseling sessions for individuals, couples, and families.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups that promote community among patients while addressing shared mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to coordinate comprehensive care and enhance patient outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.

• Educate clients about their mental health disorders, treatment options, and community resources, empowering them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring all patient information is securely managed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists will work with a diverse population experiencing various mental health challenges, including those related to major depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related issues, and substance use. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and effective intervention strategies.

• Demonstrated ability to create comprehensive mental health assessments and personalized treatment plans.

• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy to varied populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
