Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to accurately identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique cultural experiences.

• Implement evidence-based psychotherapy practices tailored to each patient's cultural context, utilizing methodologies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as appropriate.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic practices that promote resilience, empower patients, and address a wide range of mental health issues.

• Collaborate closely with fellow clinicians, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Provide emergency intervention during crises and effectively manage high-stress situations to support patients and their families.

• Educate patients and their families about various mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to foster better health literacy.

• Maintain up-to-date and professional documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems to track patient progress.

• Participate actively in team case conferences, team collaboration sessions, and ongoing cultural competence training to continually improve service delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A strong understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and a commitment to cultural competence in therapeutic practices.

• Previous experience providing individual and group therapy in a culturally responsive and inclusive manner.

• Proficient crisis intervention skills with composure in demanding scenarios.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities to establish rapport with a wide range of individuals.

• Strong proficiency in electronic health record systems for accurate documentation and patient tracking.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
