This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to provide the highest quality of care from the comfort of your home or chosen location during standard business hours. While your schedule will primarily be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, we recognize the importance of accommodating patient needs, which may require some flexibility. Our team thrives on collaboration and communication, actively engaging in regular virtual meetings, case conferences, and cultural competency training.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gauge patients' needs, experiences, and personal histories, allowing for the development of individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, adapting interventions to align with the cultural and personal contexts of each patient, fostering effective engagement and healing.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that concentrate on the patients' mental health obstacles, resilience-building, and overall emotional well-being.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive care plan that addresses all aspects of a patient’s needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients facing mental health emergencies, emphasizing stabilizing techniques and appropriate follow-up measures.

• Educate both patients and their families on mental health issues, available treatment modalities, and community resources that promote holistic well-being.

• Ensure meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LPC/MHSP, LMFT, or PsyD within the state of Tennessee.

• Strong foundation in mental health disorders, effective therapeutic treatment approaches, and a commitment to cultural competence in your therapy sessions.

• Experience in providing individual and group therapy that respects and employs culturally inclusive methodologies.

• Robust crisis intervention skills, demonstrating a capacity to remain calm and effective in urgent situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communicative abilities, with proficiency in establishing trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Adeptness with electronic health records (EHR) systems and relevant technology for documentation and patient management.
\n

• The ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n
