Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base at New Pattern Counseling Center comprises individuals facing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. By providing telehealth services, we aim to reach clients who may have barriers to accessing in-person care, including geographical limitations or mobility challenges. Your role as a counselor will be pivotal in creating strategies that promote healing and foster resilience among diverse populations, including adults, adolescents, couples, and families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated proficiency with electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, to ensure efficient documentation and client management.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage clients and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor, essential for building trust and rapport with clients.
