Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver high-quality counseling and psychotherapy to students and their families, addressing issues ranging from anxiety and depression to behavioral challenges.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans by assessing client needs, establishing measurable goals, and collaborating with clients to promote engagement and accountability.

• Advocate for clients by connecting them with essential resources, such as financial aid programs, housing assistance, and additional social services available within the community.

• Provide crisis intervention and support for students facing acute mental health challenges, including suicidal thoughts, trauma, or substance use issues.

• Engage in educational initiatives and workshops that enhance mental health awareness within schools, and actively work towards destigmatizing mental health discussions.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential case records, progress notes, and treatment plans that comply with HIPAA guidelines and other applicable regulations.

• Participate in regular supervision sessions and engage in professional development opportunities to refine clinical skills and ensure high-quality care.
