Work Environment\n

This position is designed to be conducted primarily in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility in your daily schedule while adhering to our established office hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Some evening shifts may be required based on patient demands. Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough assessments to identify the specific needs, challenges, and goals of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders, ensuring an individualized approach.

• Create and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions and group therapy to assist clients in their recovery journeys, providing a supportive and safe environment.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, seamless care for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention services during substance-related emergencies, ensuring timely support and care for clients in distress.

• Educate patients and their families about addiction, recovery strategies, coping mechanisms, and community resources available for ongoing support.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of client records.

• Engage in team meetings, participate in case consultations, and seek out continuing education opportunities to stay informed on the latest research and methodologies in addiction treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on a diverse population of individuals struggling with substance use disorders, including but not limited to alcohol use, opioid dependency, and other harmful behaviors. By developing strong therapeutic relationships, you will empower clients to take control of their recovery journey and seek out the tools necessary for lasting change.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
\n
• A solid understanding of substance use disorders, recovery principles, and effective evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven experience in conducting both individual and group therapy aimed at addiction recovery.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to maintain a non-judgmental, empathetic approach.

• Competency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology platforms.
