Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients to assess their physical conditions and functional limitations.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans that address patients' specific needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Engage in open communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive continuum of care.
• Manage the documentation process meticulously, including treatment notes, progress evaluations, and discharge summaries, in line with regulatory standards.
• Provide education to patients and their significant others regarding treatment plans, expected outcomes, and home exercise programs.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, including PTA's and aides, to foster a collaborative and effective care environment.
• Participate actively in staff meetings, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and engage in community outreach activities.
• Maintain professional licensure and certifications, adhering to best practices and continuing education requirements.
• Utilize technology and rehabilitation tools effectively to track patient progress and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Licensed Physical Therapist at Orthoworks will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a preference for candidates who possess or pursue a higher degree.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
