Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' emotional, psychological, and social needs, formulating personalized treatment plans based on these assessments.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver individual and family therapy sessions, ensuring that interventions are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Lead psychoeducational workshops and support groups, promoting a sense of community among clients and facilitating open discussions about mental health challenges.

• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.

• Respond to mental health crises with immediate intervention strategies and ongoing support, ensuring patients receive the necessary assistance during emergencies.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Participate actively in case discussions, supervision, and continuous professional development opportunities to stay informed about advancements in mental health practices.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, therapeutic options, and available community resources that can aid in the recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patient population encompasses individuals struggling with a variety of mental health conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. You will work with clients of all ages, delivering care that respects and responds to cultural, socioeconomic, and individual differences, thus fostering an inclusive environment that promotes healing.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• Demonstrated ability to evaluate mental health issues and develop precise treatment plans, showing a strong foundation in various therapeutic approaches.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
