Accountant

Responsibilities Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support financial reporting and general accounting functions. Key Responsibilities: Accountant will prepare and analyze financial statements, records, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance Assist with monthly close activities, including journal entries and general ledger reconciliations Partner cross-functionally with internal teams on accounting-related inquiries As an Accountant, you will contribute to process improvements and support audit requests Other assigned duties by leadership Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 0-2 years of accounting experience (internship experience encouraged) Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required) Ability to problem-solve and evaluate processes effectively The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
