Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine clients’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific situations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to deliver effective psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families.

• Document all clinical notes and client interactions in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with California laws, HIPAA regulations, and insurance requirements.

• Collaborate closely with fellow clinicians, support staff, and community resources to ensure a holistic approach to client care, participating in case consultations and ongoing professional development activities.

• Engage in regular clinical supervision and training sessions as necessary to continue your professional journey and enhance your therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At The Still Point, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds, as well as members of the LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent communities. Your role will be crucial in creating a safe space for clients to express their emotions and explore their challenges without judgment. By employing a culturally competent approach, you will help clients find effective solutions to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A valid California license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in good standing.

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, with a strong foundation in psychology, social work, or counseling.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health setting, with a demonstrated ability to apply clinical skills effectively.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems and virtual therapy platforms such as SimplePractice and Zoom.

• Commitment to ethical practice, client confidentiality, and adherence to professional guidelines.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with a variety of therapeutic modalities that cater to different client needs, including but not limited to trauma-informed approaches.

• Familiarity with diverse populations, particularly BIPOC and marginalized communities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Our competitive compensation package includes an annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits encompass:
