Work Environment

The telehealth setting fosters a unique work-life balance and enables you to connect with clients from the comfort of your own home. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing you to maintain a structured schedule while providing critical services. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs, goals, and personal preferences.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) effectively during therapeutic sessions.
• Educate clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to facilitate recovery and cope with challenges.
• Continuously monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance effectiveness.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated care and ensure holistic treatment.
• Stay informed on the latest research and developments in the field of mood disorders to improve treatment techniques and outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous, confidential records in strict compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to refine skills and knowledge.
• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, striving to reduce stigma and ensure access to necessary services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at Care Sense Therapy, you will primarily support clients dealing with mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Your role will also involve working with vulnerable populations such as refugees, homeless individuals, and victims of domestic violence. By tailoring your approach to each client's unique experiences, you will help them navigate their challenges and enhance their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or an equivalent field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential to foster trust and rapport with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ unique experiences.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage a diverse caseload and administrative responsibilities.
