Key Responsibilities\n

• Act as a client advocate, helping individuals access local community resources and social services to enhance their quality of life.

• Provide urgent support and crisis intervention as needed, employing crisis intervention techniques to maintain clients' safety and stability.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, progress notes, and treatment plans in adherence to legal and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to ensure cohesive and holistic care for clients.

• Deliver educational sessions on coping mechanisms, effective communication, and self-care practices to empower clients in managing their mental health independently.

• Participate in community outreach initiatives, enhancing referral resources and partnerships to broaden support networks for our clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on adolescent and young adult clients within school settings, addressing issues ranging from anxiety and depression to behavioral challenges and social issues. Your empathetic approach will be essential in working with these individuals to foster resilience and equip them with the tools to navigate life's challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure and registration as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas.

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required to qualify for this position.

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in social work, particularly within an outpatient mental health context.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong commitment to ethical and confidential therapeutic practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
