Work Environment\n

As an LMFT with us, you will work primarily in a remote capacity, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. However, you will have the support of our outpatient office when needed. Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ emotional and psychological needs through individual and family sessions.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that are rooted in empirical research and tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and family systems therapy, to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions focusing on communication skills, conflict resolution, and relationship-building strategies.

• Monitor client progress regularly and adjust treatment approaches as necessary to ensure the best outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Engage in continuous professional development activities to stay updated on best practices and advancements in family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on serving diverse families and individuals dealing with various issues, including relationship conflicts, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. You will work with clients from different backgrounds and age groups, offering a holistic approach that understands the context of their unique experiences and cultural influences.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience working with individuals and families.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to client interactions.
