Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms and establish baseline measurements for mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans with measurable goals personalized to meet each client’s unique needs, preferences, and challenges.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress.

• Educate clients and families on mood disorders, potential treatment paths, and self-care strategies to empower them in their journeys towards recovery.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans for optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated and holistic care to clients.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest practices in mental health treatment, specifically regarding mood disorders, to ensure the highest quality of care.

• Accurately document client communications, assessments, and treatment plans to adhere to legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing a variety of mood disorders. These clients may include young adults, middle-aged individuals, and older adults facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, or bipolar disorder. Your role will involve tailoring therapeutic approaches suitable for diverse backgrounds, ensuring equity and sensitivity in treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
