Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the specific needs and concerns of children and adolescents, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, considering each child’s developmental stage, family dynamics, and cultural background.

• Provide various therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy sessions, aimed at addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Deliver crisis intervention strategies during mental health emergencies, ensuring timely support and solutions for affected children and families.

• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards necessary for telehealth services.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary staff members to coordinate a comprehensive approach to mental health care and treatment.

• Educate patients and families about mental health disorders, available treatment options, and community support resources, fostering an informed and proactive approach to mental health.

• Engage in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to remain informed about best practices and emerging trends in pediatric mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on supporting children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. Offering specialized care helps our young patients to effectively manage their conditions and thrive within their families and communities.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to deliver effective individual and family therapy to children and adolescents.
\n
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methods.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with children, adolescents, and their families.
\n
• Competency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technology to facilitate remote therapy sessions.

• A collaborative spirit to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience providing direct therapy to children and adolescents is strongly preferred.

• Experience in conducting family therapy and involving caregivers in the treatment process enhances support and outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000, reflecting our commitment to attracting qualified professionals.
