Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand each client's unique needs, backgrounds, and presented concerns.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that target specific issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational challenges.

• Facilitate both one-on-one therapy and group therapy sessions that encourage constructive dialogue and emotional healing.

• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and other healthcare providers to coordinate optimal care for clients.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including continuing education and training programs, to stay updated on best practices within the field.

• Contribute ideas and insights to optimize service delivery, enhance program effectiveness, and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health counselor at Elysian Fields, you will work with a diverse array of clients, each facing distinct emotional and psychological challenges. Our patient population ranges from adolescents struggling with stress and self-esteem issues to adults dealing with more complex mental health conditions. By employing a client-centered approach, you will foster therapeutic alliances that empower your clients to take active roles in their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active state-issued license/certification, such as LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW.
\n
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in counseling or psychotherapy, particularly with clients experiencing emotional challenges.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling rapid rapport-building with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is preferred, but not mandatory.
